What "everyone knows" about nutrition… is rarely true.
Three beliefs that come up in the office every week, and what the evidence says.
Myth"Eggs raise your cholesterol."
The cholesterol in food barely moves the cholesterol in your blood. Eggs fit perfectly well in a healthy eating plan.
American Heart Association, Dietary Cholesterol and Cardiovascular Risk (Circulation, 2020)
Myth"Carbs after 6 p.m. make you gain weight."
Your body doesn't punch a time clock. What matters is your total for the day and the quality of what you eat, not the time.
Myth"Everyone should take vitamin D."
It depends on your levels: first they're measured with a lab test, then you decide. Taking supplements blindly isn't taking care of yourself.
Endocrine Society, Vitamin D for the Prevention of Disease guideline (2024)

What patients ask before booking.
Are you going to put me on a starvation diet?
No. Your plan is built around meals you'll actually want to eat, based on your lab results and your real life: no miracle products and no going hungry. The patient reviews above say it better than we can.
What does the initial assessment include?
A complete medical history, body composition analysis, a review of your lab results, and your nutrition plan with personalized menus. It's the most complete appointment, and it's where the Meizoso Method starts.
Do I need to bring lab results?
If you have recent lab work, bring it: reviewing it is part of the assessment. If you don't, the appointment goes ahead anyway, and you'll find out right there whether any tests are worth getting.
